Procedure for Ultra Surface® SPRAY-TOP System

Step 1 - Surface Preparation
Step 2 - Crack Repair
Step 3 - Patching holes, spalls and low spots
Step 4 - Resurfacing prior to applying Spray-Top
Applying Spray_Top over stamped concrete
Applying Spray_Top prior to acid staining
Applying Spray_Top in a solid color over smooth floors
Applying Spray_Top over stencils or Modellos
Applying Spray_Top over foam shapes

Step 2: Crack Repair

Before applying an Ultra Surface Polymer Concrete texture coat or 1/4" Stamping application, all structural moving cracks should be repaired with the Ultra Surface Crack Repair System as shown below.

(Note: For the 1/4" Stamping System only, the expansion joints will also need to be repaired with this crack repair system, and then cut back open the day after stamping.)

Scrape excess Epoxy off the surface.

Apply Elastomeric Basecoat over crack repairs.

Fig. 5
Immediately apply 4" Crack Repair Fabric over the Elastomeric Basecoat while still wet.

Immediately apply another coat of Elastomeric Basecoat over the 4" Crack Repair Fabric.

Fig. 7
Apply a patch coat of Ultra Surface Polymer Concrete over the crack repairs. This step is not necessary when doing 1/4" Stamping.
